- مَن رَبِّي؟
- وَذَاتَ لَيلَةٍ رَأَى إبرَاهِيمُ كَوْكَبًا، فَقَالَ: هٰذَا رَبِّي.
- وَلَمَّا غَابَ الكَوْكَبُ، قَالَ إبْرَاهِيمُ: لَا! هٰذَا لَيْسَ بِرَبِّي!
- وَرَأَى إبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَمَرَ، فَقَالَ: هٰذَا رَبِّي.
- وَلَمَّا غَابَ الْقَمَرُ، قَالَ إبْرَاهِيمُ: لَا! هٰذَا لَيْسَ بِرَبِّي!
- وَطَلَعَتِ الشَّمسُ، فَقَالَ إبْرَهِيمُ: (هٰذَا رَبِّي هٰذَا أَكْبَرُ).
- وَلَمّا غَابَتِ الشَّمسُ فِي اللَّيْلِ قَالَ إبراهِيمُ: لَا! هٰذَا لَيْسَ بِرَبِّي.
- إِنَّ اللهَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ.
- إنَّ اللهَ بَاقٍ لَا يَغِيبُ.
- إِنَّ اللهَ قَوِيٌّ لا يَغْلِبُهُ شَيْءٌ.
- وَالْكَوْكَبُ ضَعِيفٌ يَغْلِبُهُ الصُّبْحُ.
- والقَمَرُ ضَعِيفٌ تَغْلٍبُهُ الشَّمْسُ.
- والشَّمسُ ضَعِيفةٌ يَغْلِبُهَا اللَّيلُ وَيَغْلِبُهَا الْغَيمُ.
- وَلَا يَنْصُرُنِي الْكَوكَبُ لِأنَّهُ ضَعِيفٌ.
- وَلَا يَنْصُرُنِي الْقَمَرُ لِأنَّهُ ضَعِيفٌ.
- ولَا تَنْصُرُنِي الشَّمْسُ لِأنَّهَا ضَعِيفَةٌ.
- وَيَنْصُرُنِي اللهُ.
- لِأَنَّ اللهَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ.
- وَبَاقٍ لَا يَغِيبُ.
- وَقَوِيٌّ لَا يَغلِبُهُ شَيءٌ.
English Translation
- Who is my Lord?
- And one night, Ibrahim say a star and he said, ‘This is my Lord’.
- When the star set, Ibrahim said, ‘No! This is not my Lord!’.
- Ibrahim say the moon and he said, ‘This is my Lord’.
- When the moon set, Ibrahim said, ‘No! This is not my Lord!’.
- The sun rose and Ibrahim said, ‘This is my Lord. This is greater’.
- When the sun set, Ibrahim said, ‘No! This is not my Lord!’
- Verily Allah is ever-living and does not die.
- Verily Allah is always present and is never absent.
- Verily Allah is strong and nothing overcomes him.
- The star is weak, the morning overcomes it.
- The moon is weak, the sun overcomes it.
- The sun is weak, the night overcomes it and the clouds overcome it.
- The star cannot help me because it is weak.
- The moon cannot help me because it is weak.
- The sun cannot help me because it is weak.
- Allah alone can help me.
