  1. مَن رَبِّي؟
  2. وَذَاتَ لَيلَةٍ رَأَى إبرَاهِيمُ كَوْكَبًا، فَقَالَ: هٰذَا رَبِّي.
  3. وَلَمَّا غَابَ الكَوْكَبُ، قَالَ إبْرَاهِيمُ: لَا! هٰذَا لَيْسَ بِرَبِّي!
  4. وَرَأَى إبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَمَرَ، فَقَالَ: هٰذَا رَبِّي.
  5. وَلَمَّا غَابَ الْقَمَرُ، قَالَ إبْرَاهِيمُ: لَا! هٰذَا لَيْسَ بِرَبِّي!
  6. وَطَلَعَتِ الشَّمسُ، فَقَالَ إبْرَهِيمُ: (هٰذَا رَبِّي هٰذَا أَكْبَرُ).
  7. وَلَمّا غَابَتِ الشَّمسُ فِي اللَّيْلِ قَالَ إبراهِيمُ: لَا! هٰذَا لَيْسَ بِرَبِّي.
  8. إِنَّ اللهَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ.
  9. إنَّ اللهَ بَاقٍ لَا يَغِيبُ.
  10. إِنَّ اللهَ قَوِيٌّ لا يَغْلِبُهُ شَيْءٌ.
  11. وَالْكَوْكَبُ ضَعِيفٌ يَغْلِبُهُ الصُّبْحُ.
  12. والقَمَرُ ضَعِيفٌ تَغْلٍبُهُ الشَّمْسُ.
  13. والشَّمسُ ضَعِيفةٌ يَغْلِبُهَا اللَّيلُ وَيَغْلِبُهَا الْغَيمُ.
  14. وَلَا يَنْصُرُنِي الْكَوكَبُ لِأنَّهُ ضَعِيفٌ.
  15. وَلَا يَنْصُرُنِي الْقَمَرُ لِأنَّهُ ضَعِيفٌ.
  16. ولَا تَنْصُرُنِي الشَّمْسُ لِأنَّهَا ضَعِيفَةٌ.
  17. وَيَنْصُرُنِي اللهُ.
  18. لِأَنَّ اللهَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ.
  19. وَبَاقٍ لَا يَغِيبُ.
  20. وَقَوِيٌّ لَا يَغلِبُهُ شَيءٌ.
  1. Who is my Lord?
  2. And one night, Ibrahim say a star and he said, ‘This is my Lord’.
  3. When the star set, Ibrahim said, ‘No! This is not my Lord!’.
  4. Ibrahim say the moon and he said, ‘This is my Lord’.
  5. When the moon set, Ibrahim said, ‘No! This is not my Lord!’.
  6. The sun rose and Ibrahim said, ‘This is my Lord. This is greater’.
  7. When the sun set, Ibrahim said, ‘No! This is not my Lord!’
  8. Verily Allah is ever-living and does not die.
  9. Verily Allah is always present and is never absent.
  10. Verily Allah is strong and nothing overcomes him.
  11. The star is weak, the morning overcomes it.
  12. The moon is weak, the sun overcomes it.
  13. The sun is weak, the night overcomes it and the clouds overcome it.
  14. The star cannot help me because it is weak.
  15. The moon cannot help me because it is weak.
  16. The sun cannot help me because it is weak.
  17. Allah alone can help me.
